神向所有接假神到內心的人變臉（結14章）

因為以色列家的人，或在以色列中寄居的外人，凡與我隔絕，將他的假神接到心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，又就了先知來要為自己的事求問我的，我耶和華必親自回答他。我必向那人變臉，使他作了警戒、笑談、令人驚駭，並且我要將他從我民中剪除，你們就知道我是耶和華。（結 14：7-8）

神造人，是不允許魔鬼進入人心的，除非這個人給魔鬼留了地步，開心門迎接魔鬼。就連夏娃在面對魔鬼的誘惑時，魔鬼也只能用誘導的方法來引誘夏娃，並沒有進入她的心。聖經中記載魔鬼進入內心的下場都不好（如：掃羅王、賣主的猶大），最後都完全失去基本的判斷能力，也就是連一般人都可以輕易判斷出來的錯誤，這些已經鬼迷心竅的人，竟完全不自知。

本章提到神特別憤怒那些將假神接到心裡的人，因為假神不會自己進入人心，而是這些人基於某種原因將假神接到心裡。這樣的人，因為心中有假神，想法上已經先入為主，所以即使求問神也是枉然。

心中有假神的人，當他們聽見真理時，必然無法接受。甚至他們聽道理，是準備要找矛盾、挑錯誤，不是真心要學習。因為他們心中已被異端佔據了價值觀的重要位置，於是無法接受合乎真理這與他們原先價值觀相左的價值判斷。於是對於五大教義有意見、對傳道基於真理的講道有意見，自認為天下皆醉唯我獨醒，卻不知道他的「獨醒」，是被魔鬼蒙蔽心眼的結果。

心中一但有假神，聽道理就成了參考用，因為自己已經有一套來自於自己高傲的心的想法，不打算接受真理。如此一來，即使跪下來禱告又有何用？當然沒有功效，而且神還要刑罰他們。主說：

凡稱呼我主阿、主阿的人、不能都進天國。惟獨遵行我天父旨意的人、纔能進去。（太 7：21）

主耶穌說這句話，剛好提到兩種身份：「信徒」和「門徒」。「凡稱呼我主阿、主阿的人」可以說是信徒，因為會承認這個主，也會呼求這個主；「遵行我天父旨意的人」則可說是門徒，因為願意完全接受神的差遣，也接受一切的真理並確實去行。若只是信徒，就會「不能都進天國」，也就是有的可以進天國，有的不可以進；這裡說「惟獨」門徒，「纔能進去」。

心中有了假神，就不會完全遵從神的命令。既然如此，神必不聽這樣的人的呼求。即使神做了回應，也必是以假神的愚妄來回應，因為要讓這樣的人成為其他人的警戒、笑談、令人驚駭。「笑談」，是因為神讓這些人對真理的解釋，或是一些無知的行為與做法極為可笑，但是當事人卻不自知。

誰是心中有假神的人？也就是給魔鬼留地步，只迎合一些自己願意認同的想法的人，他們一開始都是對環境不滿。有了不滿的心，就容易被人利用。魔鬼最懂得利用人對神、對真理、對教會、對傳道人不滿的心，並藉此慫恿心靈底層不易察覺的驕傲與私慾，使罪長成，最後生出死來。

人被試探，不可說：「我是被神試探。」因為神不能被惡試探，他也不試探人。但各人被試探，乃是被自己的私慾牽引誘惑的。私慾既懷了胎，就生出罪來。罪既長成，就生出死來。我親愛的弟兄們，不要看錯了。（雅 1：13-16）

God Turns His Face Against All Who Receive Idols into Their Hearts (Ezekiel 14)

“For anyone of the house of Israel or of the strangers who reside in Israel who separates himself from Me, takes his idols into his heart, puts before his face the stumbling block of his wrongdoing, and then comes to the prophet to inquire of Me for himself, I, the LORD, will answer him Myself. I will set My face against that person and make him a sign and a proverb, and an object of horror among the people. I will cut him off from among My people, and you will know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 14:7–8)

When God created human beings, He did not allow the devil to enter the human heart—unless a person gives the devil an opportunity and opens the door of his heart to welcome him in. Even when Eve faced the devil's temptation, the devil could only temp her through deception; he did not enter her heart. In the Bible, the consequences of the devil entering a person's heart are never good. Saul and Judas, who betrayed the Lord, are examples. In the end, they completely lost their basic ability to discern right from wrong. Even mistakes that an ordinary person could easily recognize were completely unnoticed by those whose minds had become blinded and deceived by the devil.

This chapter particularly mentions God's anger against those who receive idols into their hearts. Idols do not enter a person's heart by themselves. Rather, people receive them into their hearts for one reason or another. Once such people have idols in their hearts, their thinking has already been shaped by preconceived ideas. Therefore, even if they seek God's guidance, it is in vain.

Those who have idols in their hearts will inevitably be unable to accept the truth when they hear it. Some even listen to sermons merely to look for contradictions and find fault, rather than sincerely desiring to learn. Because heretical ideas have already occupied an important place in their value system, they cannot accept judgments that are consistent with the truth but conflict with their original values. As a result, they find fault with the Five Basic Doctrines and object to sermons spoken by preachers on the basis of truth. They think that everyone else in the world is drunk and that they alone are awake, yet they do not realize that their supposed “awakening” is actually the result of the devil having blinded the eyes of their hearts.

Once there is an idol in the heart, listening to the truth becomes merely something to be used for reference. Such people already have their own set of ideas, originating from their proud hearts, and they have no intention of accepting the truth. In that case, what is the use of kneeling down to pray? Of course, such prayers are ineffective, and God will even punish them.The Lord said:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)

In these words, the Lord Jesus mentions two identities: “believers” and “disciples.” “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’” may be described as believers, because they acknowledge the Lord and call upon Him. “The one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven,” however, may be described as a disciple, because such a person is willing to fully accept God's commission, receive all the truth, and faithfully put it into practice. If one is merely a believer, then "not everyone will enter the kingdom of heaven". In other words, some may enter, while others may not. But here says that only disciples will enter.

Once a person has received a false god

into his heart, he will no longer fully obey God's commands. Since this is so, God will not listen to such a person's cry. Even if God gives an answer, He will answer according to the foolishness of that false gods, making him a warning, a proverb, and an object of horror to others.

The phrase “a proverb” can be understood in the sense that God allows such people's interpretations of the truth, or some of their ignorant actions and practices, to become extremely ridiculous—yet they themselves remain completely unaware of it.

Who, then, are those who have false gods in their hearts? They are those who give the devil an opportunity and accept only those ideas with which they are personally willing to agree. In the beginning, such people are often dissatisfied with their circumstances. Once dissatisfaction enters the heart, it becomes easy for others to take advantage of them.

The devil knows very well how to use people's dissatisfaction with God, with the truth, with the church, or with preachers. Through such dissatisfaction, he stirs up the pride and selfish desires hidden deep within the heart, often without the person even realizing it. Desire then conceives and gives birth to sin; and when sin is fully grown, it brings forth death.

“No one is to say when he is tempted, ‘I am being tempted by God’; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers and sisters.” (James 1:13–16)
