Horses are prepared for the day of battle (Proverbs 21)
“There is no wisdom, no understanding, And no plan against the Lord. The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But the victory belongs to the Lord.” (Proverbs 21:30-31 NASB2020)
In my limited observation and wisdom, I have discovered that God has small plans for individuals and large plans for the majority. Regarding God's small plans for individuals, God can uphold His will and accomplish His good purpose in a particular person. This process can be unaffected by anyone else, whether that person is willing or not. God does not allow that person's personal thoughts and will, because that person is related to the accomplishment of God's large plan. In this case, God's will will inevitably be accomplished. Alternatively, God's will in a particular person may allow changes according that person’s self-will . If that person is unwilling to submit, God will allow them to perish, even if God has given them a certain degree of spiritual influence; ultimately, they will perish.
However, in God's great plan—the great plan of Salvation—"it will absolutely be accomplished." This great plan is also what the devil is eagerly trying to destroy, but the devil will inevitably fail; God's great plan concerning many—that is, His promise—will surely be fulfilled.
Therefore, God "must" accomplish everything, “There is no wisdom, no understanding, And no plan against the Lord.”
In this process, God meticulously detailed His plan before the creation of the world: when which workers would appear, what would happen, what would ultimately be accomplished, and what the impact would be. And then, no matter what, His will will surely be fulfilled. All the arrangements in this process are like the "horses" in the Bible, part of His predestined plan, prepared "for the day of battle." For the future day of battle, God will prepare the necessary warhorse, because everything is in God's hands.
The horses can represent God's workers, preparing for spiritual warfare. During the Northern and Southern Kingdom of Israel, the more chaotic the nation, the more sinful the kings, and the less fearful towards the true God, the more frequently God's "warhorse" appeared. For example, Elijah and Elisha appeared successively during the sinful reign of King Ahab, and thus Elijah and Elisha were also called "the chariot of Israel and its horsemen" (see 2 Kings 2:12, 2 Kings 13:14).
Horses can also represent kings who obstruct world peace. For example, in Revelation, some horses bring war. Even today, horses are a metaphor for any group that opposes the true church, even for those who stir up trouble in the end-times church, because they become tools of the devil, opposing God's true sons.
However, in any case, "victory belongs to the Lord," and God's great plan will surely be accomplished. At this time, will I be the warhorse prepared by God? Will I be the warhorse that brings about God's kingdom, or the warhorse of the devil that opposes God's kingdom? But only God's warhorse will surely prevail, because "There is no wisdom, no understanding, And no plan against the Lord.” Amen!
“Let the one who does wrong still do wrong, and the one who is filthy still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous still practice righteousness, and the one who is holy still keep himself holy.” “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”“ (Revelation 22:11-13 NASB2020)
