以賽亞書中的啓示錄（賽24章）

那時月亮要蒙羞、日頭要慚愧．因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山、在耶路撒冷作王．在敬畏他的長老面前、必有榮耀。（賽 24：23）

聖經中對於末日的預言無獨有偶，特徵常為「日頭變黑」、「月亮不放光」等類似的情景表達。再以賽亞書這一章中，再次看到神界先知以賽亞對末日的預言。「在敬畏他的長老面前、必有榮耀」是啟示錄中24位長老將金冠免奉於主前的預言（參 啟 4：9-11） 。

聖經中的「耶路撒冷」、「錫安山」多是預表末世真教會，也就是「真耶穌教會」（TJC）。「那時月亮要蒙羞、日頭要慚愧．因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山、在耶路撒冷作王．」指著這末世真教會，要一直存留到世界末了，而且神要在其中作王，因為「萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山、在耶路撒冷作王」。

但在這之前，教會會經歷迫害，其中不是神所預定揀選的人將被一一除去，教會人數將要逐漸「精簡」，最後只留下「主的羊」，因為「主的羊聽主的聲音」，而且主的羊一隻也不失落。（參 約 10：27-29）。所以這裡提到末日前的景象之一：

在地上的萬民中、必像打過的橄欖樹、又像已摘的葡萄所剩無幾。這些人要高聲歡呼．他們為耶和華的威嚴、從海那裏揚起聲來。因此你們要在東方榮耀耶和華、在眾海島榮耀耶和華以色列　神的名。（賽 24：13-15）

這些不是主的羊的人，將因為橄欖樹被打過而掉落，像已摘的葡萄被摘掉丟棄。剩下的人不多，「這些人要高聲歡呼．他們為耶和華的威嚴、從海那裏揚起聲來。」本節的「東方」就是指末世真教會，要在地球主要大陸「歐亞大陸」的「東方」，也就是臺灣，今天的真耶穌教會，聖經這裡說，要在這裡「榮耀耶和華」，而且要「在眾海島榮耀耶和華以色列神的名」，也就是福音要傳遍天下。

地全然破壞、盡都崩裂、大大的震動了。地要東倒西歪、好像醉酒的人．又搖來搖去、好像吊床．罪過在其上沉重、必然塌陷、不能復起。到那日耶和華在高處必懲罰高處的眾軍、在地上必懲罰地上的列王。他們必被聚集、像囚犯被聚在牢獄中、並要囚在監牢裏、多日之後便被討罪。〔或作眷顧〕（賽 24：19-22）

這幾節經文再次提到末日的景象：巨大的地震，以及末日的審判。

然而先知以賽亞這裡有一個值得我們省思與效法的榜樣，就是當神讓他預先知道末後耶穌基督的降臨，也就是地極的人所歌唱的「榮耀歸於義人」時，他想到的不是自覺穩穩得救，然後坦然無懼準備迎接「義人」耶穌基督的降臨，而是驚惶。我們聽見從地極有人歌唱、說：「榮耀歸於義人。」我卻說：「我消滅了、我消滅了、我有禍了．詭詐的行詭詐、詭詐的大行詭詐。」（賽 24：16）。

這裡的「我消滅了、我消滅了」原意是「消瘦」的意思，是以賽亞先知自覺污穢不潔，難以站立在聖潔的神面前。我們常常容易洋洋得意自己有善行，自認為做很多神的工，很少檢討自己，總認為自己已經完全。

聖經是一面鏡子，當藉由讀聖經、聚會聽道理、常常在聖靈中禱告，來看見真實的自己。一個認清自己有罪、不完全的人，才是真的有智慧的人。愚妄人總認為自己很完全、很優秀、很棒。求主幫助我們，使我們有智慧時時看清楚自己的不足，以免在末日之前，成為優先被打落的橄欖、優先被摘掉丟棄的爛葡萄。

因為時候到了、審判要從神的家起首．若是先從我們起首、那不信從神福音的人、將有何等的結局呢？若是義人僅僅得救、那不虔敬和犯罪的人、將有何地可站呢？（彼前 4：17-18）

The Revelation in the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 24)

“Then the moon will be embarrassed and the sun ashamed,

For the LORD of armies will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,

And His glory will be before His elders.” (Isaiah 24:23, NASB2020)

The Bible contains many prophecies concerning the last days. Their descriptions often include scenes such as “the sun becoming dark” and “the moon not giving its light.” In this chapter of Isaiah, we again see the prophet Isaiah foretelling the end times.

The phrase, “before His elders will be glory,” is a prophecy of the twenty-four elders in Revelation placing their crowns before the Lord (cf. Revelation 4:9–11).

In the Bible, “Jerusalem” and “Mount Zion” often symbolize the true church in the last days, namely the True Jesus Church (TJC). “Then the moon will be embarrassed and the sun ashamed, for the LORD of armies will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem” means that this true church of the last days will remain until the end of the world, and God will reign in her, because “the LORD of armies will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem.”

But before this, the church will experience persecution. Those who are not chosen by God will gradually be removed, and the number of people in the church will become increasingly refined. In the end, only “the Lord’s sheep” will remain, because “My sheep listen to My voice,” and not one of them will be lost (cf. John 10:27–29).Therefore,one of the scenes before the end is described here:

“For so it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples,

As the shaking of an olive tree,

As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.

They raise their voices, they shout for joy;

They cry out from the west concerning the majesty of the LORD.

Therefore glorify the LORD in the east,

The name of the LORD, the God of Israel,

In the coastlands of the sea.” (Isaiah 24:13–15, NASB2020)

Those who are not the Lord’s sheep will fall like olives shaken from a tree, or like grapes removed and discarded after harvest. The people who remain will be few. “They raise their voices, they shout for joy; they cry out concerning the majesty of the LORD.”

The “east” in this passage refers to the true church in the last days, located in the east of the great Eurasian continent, that is, Taiwan, where the True Jesus Church is today. The Bible says here that from this place people will “glorify the LORD,” and also “glorify the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the coastlands of the sea,” meaning that the gospel will be preached throughout the world.

“The earth is broken asunder,

The earth is split through,

The earth is shaken violently.

The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard

And it totters like a shack,

For its wrongdoing is heavy upon it,

And it will fall, never to rise again.

So it will happen on that day,

That the LORD will punish the heavenly host on high,

And the kings of the earth on earth.

They will be gathered together

Like prisoners in the dungeon,

And will be confined in prison;

And after many days they will be punished.” (Isaiah 24:19–22, NASB2020)

These verses again describe the scenes of the end times: great earthquakes and the final judgment.

Yet there is an example from the prophet Isaiah here that is worthy of our reflection and imitation. When God allowed him to foresee the coming of Jesus Christ in the last days, when people from the ends of the earth sing, “Glory to the Righteous One” — Isaiah did not think that he was certainly saved and could confidently welcome the coming of Christ the Righteous One. Instead, he was filled with fear.

“From the ends of the earth we hear songs, ‘Glory to the Righteous One,’

But I say, ‘Woe to me! Woe to me! Alas for me!

The treacherous deal treacherously,

And the treacherous deal very treacherously.’” (Isaiah 24:16, NASB2020)

The phrase “Woe to me! Woe to me!” originally carries the meaning of “wasting away.” Isaiah realized his own uncleanness and felt unable to stand before the holy God.

We often become proud of our good deeds. We think we have done much work for God, yet rarely examine ourselves, always believing that we are already complete.

The Bible is a mirror. Through reading the Bible, listening to sermons in services, and praying often in the Holy Spirit, we come to see our true selves. A person who recognizes his own sinfulness and imperfection is truly wise. Foolish people always think they are complete, excellent, and good enough.

May the Lord help us to have wisdom to continually see our own shortcomings, lest before the last day we become olives shaken down first, or rotten grapes removed and cast away first.

“For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?” (1 Peter 4:17–18, NASB2020)
