一切乾渴的都當就近水來（賽55章）

你們一切乾渴的都當就近水來．沒有銀錢的也可以來．你們都來、買了喫．不用銀錢、不用價值、也來買酒和奶。（賽 55：1）

水，就是聖靈。

耶穌回答說：「凡喝這水的、還要再渴．人若喝我所賜的水就永遠不渴．我所賜的水、要在他裏頭成為泉源、直湧到永生。」（約 4：13-14）

節期的末日、就是最大之日、耶穌站着高聲說：「人若渴了、可以到我這裏來喝。信我的人、就如經上所說、從他腹中要流出活水的江河來。」耶穌這話是指着信他之人、要受聖靈說的。那時還沒有賜下聖靈來．因為耶穌尚未得着榮耀。（約 7：37-39）

耶穌曾在撒馬利亞城跟一位撒馬利亞婦人要水喝，藉此引出口渴的話題。口渴，可能是肉體生理的渴，因為水是身體中最重要的成份，身體機能全賴它進行各種生化反應，以維繫生命。人可以幾天不吃飯，卻不能幾天不喝水，因為嚴重的口渴，將危及生命。

聖靈如活水，使人的靈魂得滋潤，也使人的心靈得到滿足。活水，是源源不絕的意思，有了隨身攜帶的活水江河的人，渴了就有水喝，當然永不再渴。

今天神已經藉由真耶穌教會將這寶貴的聖靈賜下，人人可得這活水江河般的聖靈。這樣的水，要「你們一切乾渴的都當就近水來」，也就是進入真耶穌教會求聖靈。這寶貴的聖靈，「沒有銀錢的也可以來」，因為「不用銀錢」，「不用價值」，是免費的。這樣的聖靈，要給人力量，使人有智慧，並靠著完成一切神交付的任務，是無價寶。

那領受他見證的、就印上印、證明神是真的。神所差來的、就說神的話．因為神賜聖靈給他、是沒有限量的。（約 3：33-34）

在真耶穌教會中，可以「也來買酒和奶」。在真教會中，有恩典、福氣，因為神同在、神賜福。（酒有如喜樂、奶如同福氣）

接著神指責那些混亂真理的今日其他教派、尤其是各基督教派，不能引人得救，卻拼命傳福音，傳那些不能使人吃飽的自以為是的福音：

你們為何花錢〔原文作平銀〕買那不足為食物的、用勞碌得來的買那不使人飽足的呢？你們要留意聽我的話、就能喫那美物、得享肥甘、心中喜樂。（賽 55：2）

因此，我們都當趕緊來尋求神，時候不多了，末日徵兆正一一顯現，當趁今天還有機會信耶穌，進入真屬神的真耶穌教會，受洗並得著應許的聖靈，才是人生最重要的事。阿們！

趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他、相近的時候求告他．惡人當離棄自己的道路．不義的人當除掉自己的意念、歸向耶和華、耶和華就必憐恤他．當歸向我們的神、因為神必廣行赦免。（賽 55：6-7）

Everyone Who Thirsts, Come to the Waters (Isaiah 55)

“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” (Isaiah 55:1, NASB)

Water refers to the Holy Spirit.

Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty. But the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.” (John 4:13–14, NASB)

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his a11innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He said in reference to the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. (John 7:37–39, NASB)

Jesus once asked a Samaritan woman for a drink of water in the city of Samaria, and through this He introduced the subject of thirst. Thirst may refer to physical thirst, because water is one of the most essential elements of the human body. The body depends on it for countless biochemical processes that sustain life. A person can go without food for several days, but cannot go without water for long, because severe thirst endangers life itself.

The Holy Spirit is like living water. It refreshes the soul and satisfies the heart. Living water means an unending supply. Whoever carries within himself this river of living water will always have water to drink whenever he thirsts, and therefore will never thirst again.

Today, God has bestowed this precious Holy Spirit through the True Jesus Church. Everyone may receive the Holy Spirit like this river of living water. Therefore, “Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters,” which means entering the True Jesus Church to seek the Holy Spirit. This precious Holy Spirit is available even to those who have no money, because it is “without money” and “without cost.” It is freely given. This Holy Spirit gives people strength and wisdom, enabling them to accomplish every task that God entrusts to them. It is beyond all price.

“The one who has accepted His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure.” (John 3:33–34, NASB)

In the True Jesus Church, people may also “buy wine and milk.” In the true church there are grace and blessings, because God is present and God bestows His blessings.(wine is like joy, and milkislikeablessing)

God then rebukes those who confuse the truth. Today, many other denominations, especially the various Christian denominations, cannot lead people to salvation, yet they zealously preach what they believe to be the gospel, even though it cannot truly satisfy people's spiritual hunger:

“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance.” (Isaiah 55:2, NASB)

Therefore, we should all quick to seek God. Time is short, and the signs of the last days are appearing one after another. While there is still opportunity, we should believe in Jesus, enter the true True Jesus Church that belongs to God, receive baptism, and obtain the promised Holy Spirit. This is the most important matter in life. Amen!

“Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked abandon his way, and the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” (Isaiah 55:6–7, NASB)
